Terms & Conditions – Manali Scooty Rental scooter rental service

Welcome to Manali Scooty Rental. By renting a vehicle from us, you agree to comply with the following Terms & Conditions. We request all customers to read them carefully before booking.

• The renter must possess a valid two-wheeler driving license issued in India or an International Driving Permit (IDP) for foreign nationals.
   
• The renter must be at least 18 years of age.
   
• A valid Government ID proof (Aadhar Card / Passport / PAN Card / Voter ID) must be provided. We may keep a photocopy for records.
   

• Rentals are on a per-day basis (from 9:00 AM to 8:00 PM).
   
• Late return beyond the agreed time may attract an extra charge.
   
• Vehicles must be returned to the same location from where they were picked up unless otherwise agreed.
   

• Advance booking may be required to confirm availability.
   
• The renter must pay the daily rental charges along with a refundable security deposit (amount varies by vehicle).
   
• Payment can be made via cash, UPI, or online transfer.
   

• All prices are exclusive of fuel.
   
• Vehicles are provided with a minimal amount of fuel sufficient to reach the nearest fuel station.
   
• Renters must return the vehicle with approximately the same fuel level as at the time of pickup.
   

• Vehicles must not be used for:
   
  • Illegal activities or racing.
     
  • Riding under the influence of alcohol or drugs.
     
  • Riding without a helmet (mandatory as per Indian law).
     
• The renter is responsible for safe riding and compliance with traffic laws.
   

• The renter is responsible for any loss, theft, or damage to the vehicle during the rental period.
   
• In case of an accident, the renter must immediately inform Manali Scooty Rental.
   
• The renter is liable to bear repair costs for damages due to negligence, rash driving, or violation of terms.
   
• Insurance (if applicable) covers only third-party liability, not damage to the rented vehicle.
   

• In case of a breakdown, we will provide assistance wherever possible.
   
• If the breakdown is due to the renter’s negligence, repair/towing charges will be borne by the renter.
   

• Cancellations made 24 hours before booking may be eligible for a partial refund.
   
• No refunds for last-minute cancellations or early returns.
   
• Security deposit is refundable after proper inspection of the vehicle.
   

• The renter agrees to indemnify Manali Scooty Rental against all claims, damages, penalties, or legal proceedings arising from misuse of the vehicle during the rental period.
   

• Manali Scooty Rental reserves the right to:
   
  • Refuse rental to anyone deemed unsuitable.
     
  • Cancel or terminate rentals due to misuse, non-compliance, or unsafe behavior.
